IPMT & IPSR has a common department of student welfare. A wide range of activities are covered under student welfare. Student welfare department is headed by the head of the Institution. A few of the activities taken up by student welfare department are mentioned below:

Free Medical / Health Check-up:
A charitable dispensary is running, named Maa Saraswati under PEASSS and students of the institute are regularly screened for health. Sick students are properly treated in the dispensary and if need arises, are referred to specialized medical care facility.

Sports:
Sports events are organized on regular basis. Institute has facilities for few indoor games. Outdoor games are organized on Institute's Playing Grounds as well as on Govt./Public/Private Sports facilities.

Recreational Activity:
Institute provides TV & Internet facility to students as part of recreational activity. Art & literary events like singing, dancing, painting, photography etc are regularly organized to boost creativity among students.

Excursions & Tours:
Excursion & tours are regularly organized as a part of curriculum as well as recreational activity. Students along with guides (faculty member) organize local and outstation tours.

Event Organization:
Student welfare department organizes a number of regular events on timely basis which includes competitions, annual day function, national festivals and social welfare camps. Students are the core part of these events.

Prizes & Accolades:
Outstanding Student in different aspects are awarded prizes for their performances & contributions.
